Artist’s Statement

For many years I have focused my great love of the children’s picture book by promoting wonderful books to children and adults. Recently I decided to return to my own creativity and work on writing and illustration. As a librarian, I love doing research and have written several picture book biographies for which I am seeking publication. My research skills were also put to work in two historical fiction picture book manuscripts. My young grandchildren inspired an easy reader series and two board books for which I have made dummies and am also seeking publication.
